Farmer ham is made of parts of pure muscles with minimum fat (2-3%). The excellent flavour results from mild smoking and roasting.


Premium hams also require careful slicing. Hams are sliced even thinner than dry sausages. Depending on size, slices should be between 0.8 and 1.2 mm thick. The best way is to make sure that the slices are as thin as possible. Ham is always sliced breadth-wise and by no means sideways.

Slice Farmer Ham very thin and serve it with soft cheese like French brie, with grapes or sliced pear. This ham is an excellent base for salads or more complex dishes.
