Today’s market conditions do not allow us to be satisfied with the existing state and to simply enjoy the old glory. Instead, by following the most recent global standards in our trade, Gavrilović’s ultimate goal is to satisfy the customer and to be one step ahead of competition at all times.
Gavrilović maintains control over its production with the strictest health and hygiene standards. With respect to these fundamental principles, we have implemented and certified the ISO 22000 norm, which involves the HACCP and SSOP principles that guarantee the highest possible level of hygiene and food safety in all production processes. We are the first meat processor in Croatia, and one of the first in Europe, to have implemented and certified the ISO 22000 food safety management system.
We are currently implementing the ISO 9001 norm, which sets out requirements for the adoption and maintenance of the quality management system within the company. We are also introducing the environmental management system, according to the ISO 14001 norm, which ensures that all environmental impacts of the company’s operation are identified, controlled and conformed to the legislation. Obtaining Halal certification is also under way.
Bearing in mind that each norm represents only one section of organization management, this understandably led to the defining of our major goal – to create an integrated management system. This way all business systems within Gavrilović will be interconnected and will supplement each other with their common requirements, which will ensure synergy of operations.
